The kids had way more fun this year at the fair then last year. We got Jake a wristband and he put it to good use. We went to the carnival earlier in the day with our cousins. We picked up our wristbands. Zach noticed that he wasn't getting one and he was not happy about it. I thought I would be tricky and put an old band on him that we had left over from swimming (he was to short to go on the rides anyway without an adult) . It worked, for a little while, until he tried to walk on a ride with the other kids and the man stopped him. Then he pulled the band right off his arm (it was a hard one to get off too) and bawled in the stroller the whole afternoon. That night we came back with James and he felt so bad for him that he bought one for Zach and one for himself. I have never seen Zach so proud as when he came back with his own band swinging it in the air. He went on every ride ten times, so did James because Zach was to small to go by himself. My husband is a saint and of course I couldn't go with them because I didn't have a band and I was so sad about it ;)
Ride ‘em Cowboy
The kids had fun at the rodeo. They cheered for the animals most of the time but they liked the cowboys too.
Never corner something meaner than you
We can't wait to pull out the cowboy hats next year!

I love looking at all your pics, nothing like the cache county fair. We should go to the rodeo together next year, and we'll ride the rides with our kids or we could just go to lagoon it's about the same price.
