St. Patrick's Day

We had so much fun with St. Patrick's Day this year. Jacob came home from pre-school and said that he had to build a leprechaun trap to catch a leprechaun that comes to your house the night before St. Patrick's day (this was all news to me but it turned out to be really fun). He built the cutest trap and drew a fun picture on it. Then they put some treats that they thought leprechauns would like and some green things. Unfortunately we did not catch a leprechaun but he left some candy, shirts, and toys for the kids.

Because the leprechaun coming was not something I had planned on it was a little thrown together but the kids didn't notice. The leprechaun also got blamed for everything naughty or nice that went on in our house for about a week. Jacob and Zach where looking for candy in my purse and Jacob said "Mom, the leprechaun left a ten dollar bill in your purse".

They had so much fun pinching people and we finished the day off with a green bath tub.
