Christmas the year was so much fun. I think it gets funner and funner every year. We spent Christmas Eve at the Thompsons. We had a yummy dinner and played some fun games, then we made it home just in time to see Santa walking in our backyard. The kids thought that it was really neat and wanted to go to bed right away before he left. I was okay with that because I still had ALOT to do.
Jacob helped Zachary with his stocking. While they were looking at there things he told Zach not to worry because Santa left the good stuff downstairs. Thanks to Aunt Laurie our cat Quincy has a stocking (she made ours for us before we had kids so she made one for the cat too). It is the kids favorite thing to help her open it.
I really did leave things to the last min and I forgot to fill the fish Jacob had asked Santa for with helium. Thank heavens for Walgreens and the nice man that was willing to break the rules and fill it up for me at 1150 Christmas Eve. He saved Jacob's Christmas that's for sure.
Overall we had a perfect Christmas and there was a huge mess left over to prove it.
